- Include accessibility throughout our development process - from design to development to QA.
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff - some of our team members already have training from deque university and we are in the process of training the rest of our team.
- Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods - we have a detailed testing guideline that covers manual testsing, as well as several automated testing tools as part of our code base.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. ecobee.com is conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.
